I bought this as a car light to replace my older nebo redline as it's a little smaller and brighter and its rechargeable, my redline is not, the USB-A was able to give my phone a slow charge ,enough to get by in an emergence if needed, the only real negative I see is the micro usb charge port, USB-C would have been better (the aluminum around the port is machined in the shape of a USB-C port) -that is why it got 4 stars, other than that it's a nice light
